Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Monograph.

Monograph is operated by Readylog Ltd, trading as Monograph, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17254307.

By creating an account or using Monograph, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Monograph

Monograph is an AI-assisted publishing workspace designed to help professionals capture ideas, write content, schedule and publish supported posts, and understand content performance.

Monograph currently focuses primarily on publishing to personal LinkedIn profiles.

We may improve or change the service over time as the product develops.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate account information and keep access to your account secure.

You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless that activity results from something for which Monograph is legally responsible.

You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

You may not share an individual Monograph account in a way that defeats account limits or security controls.

3. Connecting LinkedIn

If you connect LinkedIn to Monograph, you authorise Monograph and its publishing provider to perform the actions you request, including publishing or scheduling supported content to your connected LinkedIn profile.

Monograph does not ask you to provide your LinkedIn password.

LinkedIn is a third-party service and is not controlled by Readylog Ltd. Your use of LinkedIn remains subject to LinkedIn’s own terms, policies and platform rules.

Monograph is not endorsed by or affiliated with LinkedIn unless expressly stated otherwise.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of content that you create, upload or store in Monograph.

You give us a limited licence to host, store, process, reproduce and transmit your content only to the extent reasonably necessary to operate Monograph, provide features you request, maintain and secure the service, and comply with law.

This licence ends when the content is deleted from our active systems, subject to reasonable backup retention and legal obligations.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights necessary to use and publish the content you provide to Monograph.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use Monograph to:

• break applicable law;
• infringe another person’s intellectual-property, privacy or other legal rights;
• publish unlawful, fraudulent or deliberately deceptive material;
• distribute malware or malicious code;
• gain unauthorised access to accounts, systems or data;
• interfere with or disrupt Monograph or its providers;
• circumvent usage, security, subscription or technical limits;
• abuse LinkedIn or other third-party platforms;
• use the service to facilitate spam or unlawful unsolicited communications; or
• use Monograph in a way that could reasonably expose us, our users or our providers to legal or security risk.

We may suspend or restrict accounts where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected abuse, protect the service or comply with law.

6. AI-assisted features

Monograph includes optional AI-assisted features.

AI-generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete, repetitive or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing any suggestion before using or publishing it.

You should not rely on AI output as professional legal, medical, financial or other regulated advice.

We do not guarantee that AI-generated output will be unique or free from similarity to material produced for other users.

Nothing is published solely because an AI feature generated it. You remain responsible for the final content you choose to use or publish.

7. Scheduling and publishing

We aim to publish and schedule content reliably, but publishing depends partly on third-party systems such as LinkedIn and our publishing provider.

External services can experience outages, delays, API changes, rate limits or other failures outside our reasonable control.

You should not rely on Monograph for time-critical or legally required communications.

If a scheduled publication fails, Monograph may notify you and attempt to reconcile the post’s status, but we cannot guarantee that every requested post will be published at the exact requested time.

You remain responsible for checking the final result of important publications.

8. Subscription and free trial

Monograph Core is currently offered with a 7-day free trial, followed by a recurring subscription currently priced at $19.99 USD per month, unless a different price or discount is clearly shown to you at checkout.

Your subscription automatically renews until cancelled.

The price, renewal frequency and applicable taxes shown at checkout form part of your purchase terms.

Your payment transaction is handled by Polar, our Merchant of Record. Polar is the seller for the payment transaction and handles payment processing, invoicing and applicable indirect taxes within its service.

By completing checkout, you also agree to the applicable Polar Buyer Terms.

9. Cancelling your subscription

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing/customer portal made available from Monograph.

Cancelling prevents future renewal charges.

Unless otherwise stated at the time of cancellation, you normally retain paid access until the end of the trial or billing period for which you already have access.

Cancelling a subscription does not automatically delete your Monograph account or stored content.

10. Consumer rights

If you use Monograph as a consumer, nothing in these Terms removes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.

Depending on where you live and the circumstances of your purchase, you may have statutory cancellation, refund or service-quality rights in addition to the contractual rights described in these Terms.

11. Availability and changes

Monograph is an evolving software service.

We may add, change or remove features where reasonably necessary to improve the service, respond to security or legal requirements, adapt to third-party platform changes or develop the product.

We do not promise that every current feature will remain available indefinitely.

Where a change materially reduces the core functionality of a paid subscription, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice where practicable.

We may perform maintenance or temporarily restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, reliability or maintenance.

12. Third-party services

Monograph depends on third-party services including hosting, authentication, AI, payments, analytics and publishing providers.

We are not responsible for third-party services to the extent that an issue is genuinely outside our reasonable control, but this does not affect any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Monograph at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access if:

• you materially breach these Terms;
• your use creates a serious security or legal risk;
• your subscription no longer provides access to paid features;
• we are legally required to do so; or
• continued provision of the service becomes impossible for reasons outside our reasonable control.

Where reasonable, we will give you an opportunity to correct a breach before terminating your account.

Serious abuse, fraud or security threats may require immediate action.

14. Data after termination

Subscription cancellation and account deletion are different actions.

Cancelling payment does not automatically delete your account or stored content.

If you want your account and eligible personal data deleted, contact us. Our handling of personal data following account closure is described in our Privacy Policy.

You should keep your own copy of content that is important to you.

15. Our responsibility to consumers

If you are a consumer, we are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.

We are not responsible for losses that are not foreseeable.

Monograph is intended primarily for professional publishing. If you use Monograph for commercial or business purposes, business-loss provisions below may apply instead.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or mandatory consumer rights.

16. Our responsibility to business users

If you use Monograph wholly or mainly for your trade, business, craft or profession, then, to the fullest extent permitted by law:

• we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of business, loss of anticipated savings or loss of goodwill; and
• our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to Monograph or these Terms will not exceed the subscription fees paid or payable by you for Monograph during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms where reasonably necessary because of product changes, legal requirements, security issues or changes to how Monograph operates.

If a material change adversely affects an existing paid subscription, we will provide reasonable notice where required.

The version in force when you use the service applies, subject to mandatory legal protections.

18. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory protections provided by the law of the country in which you ordinarily live, and nothing in these Terms prevents you bringing proceedings in a court available to you under applicable consumer law.

If you are a business user, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
